Greetings, Folks! I trust you are well in the Lord. These last two days have been absolutely overwhelming and I can hardly keep up with Andy's activities. The above picture is the very first church he preached in...Olivier is standing next to him in the white shirt interpreting. I have had a tremendous sense of peace depite the fact that mortars are still falling near his hotel in the city, I guess it's just the nature of the place. The humor of it is this: his hotel room number is C4-prophetic in itself! All of you Stargate fans, enjoy the blast! (C4 is an explosive used all too often on Stargate.)
Anyhow, I have felt an urgency to pray against oppositions on the current spiritual scene that have roots in the past, in the 'deeps' of the nation. First, Psalm 91: 6. "I (we) will not be afraid of the pestilence that stalks (walks) in darkness." Instead of night or gloom, this word can mean spiritual darkness or calamity. Look it up! 652 in Strongs OT. Tell me what you think.
First-The word is out that God is moving and will expand and 'travel'. We must continue to exalt the Lord and believe for protection against the 'mortars' of witchcraft, suspicion, accusation as well as the presence of Satanists. Quite frankly, there is some concern among Christian businessmen that Satanists have joined the local rotary.
I've connected the scripture in Psalms to II Kings 18 & 19. Somewhere the church in Burundi gave up ground, and we need to find the incidences and identify the exact underlying spirit. It would be easy to point the finger at witchcraft and dead religion. In this Biblical example, Sennacherib, King of Assyria invaded Judah and captured the fortified cities. He demanded 100 talents of silver and 50 of gold. Interesting numbers. Hezekiah gave in to the threat and paid the ransom which in part he robbed from the temple and from God, and yet Judah was still threatened by Assyria. Hezekiah sinned by doing so and by apologizing to his enemy for rebelling against Assyria's godlessness. We don't owe the devil an apology for pursuing righteousness! Nor do we owe him our wealth and tithes. Then, Rabshekah has the audacity to speak against God and Hezekiah. False humility in the form of accusation has been one cause of suspicion in the church there, I believe. Tendrils and roots.
But the Answer to all, is that in spite of his evident weakness, Hezekiah prayed. And God Answered. Agree with me today against the wiles of the devil and the triumph of the Cross over all of these things. I could type a 10o paragraphs, but I urge you to pray in the power of the Holy Spirit and with the understanding right now as you read this post. p>
It continues to Storm, it is the Rainy season. Andy continues to speak to high school students about Jesus in school and pray for them. Oh, what ground we have lost, saints! I could feel the kids love for Jesus as he typed the words, the innocence and the purity of their faith. I am doubly grieved over our youth, the rape of their innocence by a perverse media and by the educational system in all of its humanism, promotion of homosexuality and godlessness. And you know what? It's our fault, the church in America for all of its prosperity and knowledge, is cold and

Andy has been on radio broadcasts where he's shared about the outpouring of God's blessings on the nation, asking Him to fill the airwaves (wonder where he got that idea 
). He was supposed to do more radio this morning... he's also to be at a businessmen's breakfast...he's been in prayer meetings in the homes of parliament members...he's had many, many words of knowledge, prayed for the sick, and is seeing healings...O.'s pastor is a Rhema grad and uses ISOM in his church in French...so much more on individuals I can hardly post it all. This weekend he travels to Muyinga to minister and will not be in contact with me. I'll try to post more pictures then.
