Entry for April 8, 2008

1:45 pm.  Good afternoon!  As I was returning from a shopping trip to Sam's Club (had to get my coffee and rugala!),  I was suddenly very aware of being 'seated in heavenly places' with Jesus.  Yesterday the Holy Spirit spoke to me about something I hadn't quite considered.   He said 'hot springs' and I thought, ok that's cool, so why springs and not wells again?  There are plenty of spiritual wells to dig and re-dig all over the world of various types

I feel that our ministry is-I really want to say 'ministry are' instead of ministries because it's a singular thing although it consists of many parts-this idea of 'hot springs'.  I said, Why a spring Lord? and it occurred to me that a spring flows from a deeper source, it can be the source of a stream or a larger body of water yet it's right on the surface and you don't have to dig to reach it.  It's here, now, available to dip your fingers in and take a cool drink.  It's attainable, and we're seated in the midst of it right now!

A spring goes forth, reaches out and we're reaching out to Burundi in prayer, we're being the springs, flowing, and the source is the Spirit.  'Deep calls to deep...' Ps 42:7.  Today I focus on the nation, and call forth into being springs of water into dry places, spiritually and physically, in the church, the people and the land.  Hot springs to cleanse and cool springs to refresh.  Fresh water, outpouring and rain upon this spiritually parched land.  'How blessed is the man whose strength is in Thee...Passing through the valley of Baka (weeping) they make it a spring.'  Ps. 84:6,7  Baka shrubs (or balsam trees) actually emit a tear-shaped resin.   As Andy goes forth, may he be carried on and bathed in these hot springs and be strengthened in them as he passes through in the power of the Holy Spirit, imparting the love of God, joy and healing, AMEN!! WhooHoo!  Amy

Amen Amy! May we tap into the refreshing wells and springs of the Holy Spirit and 'draw' Water of Life for others to drink!
